Downpour is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe — especially regarding your Google account and Google Drive integration.

📥 What We Collect

When you connect your Google account to Downpour, we collect the following limited data:

• Email address

• Name

• Profile picture

• Google Drive access tokens (for secure file uploading)

We do not collect or access any files or folders in your Google Drive outside of what Downpour creates.

🎯 Why We Collect It

We use this data to:

• Display which Google Drive account is linked to each of your Etsy shops

• Create and manage a folder in your Google Drive named DownpourGoogleDriveUploads

• Upload files to that folder as part of the Downpour automation workflow

We do this to help streamline your workflow and enhance your experience using Downpour.

🛑 What We Don’t Do

• ❌ We do not access any other files or folders in your Google Drive

• ❌ We do not read, modify, or delete anything outside the Downpour-created folder

• ❌ We do not sell or share your personal data with any third parties

🔐 How We Store Your Data

All tokens and personal data are securely stored in our encrypted database. Access is strictly limited to authorized systems necessary for operating the Downpour service.

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your Downpour settings, or directly from your Google Account:
